New projects reopen debate on the sustainability of palm oil in the Brazilian Amazon

With an eye on the increase in production of biodiesel derived from palm oil, the government has publish zoning laws and announced new means of controlling the social and environmental impacts. In the meantime, relatede projects are currently being implemented and presenting problems.
